January Update

Latest update.  Finished painting cupboards, doors, drawers.  I need to touch up the outside of cupboard doors.  Made new curatins.  

Painted all wood in kitchen area.  This is the ugly brown fake tile before I painted it silver (pictured below).  New curtain on door.

 

Made "storm windows" (plexiglass) which I velcroed over the windows to keep drafts out.

Painted doors white (need touch up yet) and changed hardware.

Hard to see with lighting, but backsplash is now reflective silver paint.  

 Close up to stove area before silver back wall paint.

 Painted door and added a pretty new knob.  Chalkboard paint still not dry.  Framing in with silver around chalkboard.

 Drawers painted.  Need touch up from filling in wood.  New hardware.

Fridge and Quilt "rack"

Quilt rack from the thrift store, which is actually a old chrome towel rack.  Fits perfect here.

White fridge fits perfectly here where the old ice box was.  Was going to keep the ice box, but when I am using it in my driveway as my "woman's cave" I need to have cold beverages!

Love this view 1/4 of the way done inside...at least it is nappable now!

Finished the flooring

I hate it when you are a few short and have to buy a whole new box to finish.  Guess I will do the closet now.  lol

Finished Painting and Installed New Laminate Wood-like Floor

The new day bed which converts to a full size bed. 

It is not finished, but it is nappable!  

Finished Product - ran out of flooring with about 2 feet square to go.

Here is the corner that was patched.  Still need some finishing work.
