Fridge and Quilt "rack"
Quilt rack from the thrift store, which is actually a old chrome towel rack. Fits perfect here.
White fridge fits perfectly here where the old ice box was. Was going to keep the ice box, but when I am using it in my driveway as my "woman's cave" I need to have cold beverages!

Love this view 1/4 of the way done inside...at least it is nappable now!
Finished the flooring
I hate it when you are a few short and have to buy a whole new box to finish. Guess I will do the closet now. lol

Linens
I really scored with these vintage linens I am using to cover the seating area cushions. (white and pink chenille...one is the popcorn chenille) The pink quilt was $5.00 and matches a blue quilt my grandmother made. (hers was the same block pattern, same thickness, but in blue). I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pillows. She had $1.00 on each, but I ended up giving her $4.00 each. They were way underpriced.
LOVE, LOVE these hand embroidered pillows.
Time for Blue Paint
Here is the blue. I need to sand this side and either redo or cover with high gloss. The other side and front and back turned out great!
I also painted this old metal typing table to match for the inside. I am converting the bed to a day bed, that will slide out to a full size or queen, with a curtained off area.

Painting Journey
White paint is done in this picture.
In this pic, you can see the before and after difference with the white on the front of the trailer.
Here is a closer photo of the before and after of the front.
Time to Paint
I watched some videos on Youtube on painting a trailer. I found that Rustoleum paint, mixed 3/4 paint to 1/4 thinner. Here is the video.
I used the Rustoleum Spray paint for the stripe, but wasn't very happy with the result. One side didn't take very well.
Welcome to my Journey to transform my Vintage trailer!
Well, I bought Lola in September of 2013 from a new friend in La Pine. She cried as she left and I am sure she will get to see her again because the stranger that sold me Lola I can now call friend.
I paid $475 for her, borrowed a friends SUV to drive her home and parked her in my driveway to start her renovation.
Let me make this clear. This is NOT a restoration. It is "Cheri-stor-ation, Glamping style". I am doing her in colors and styles that are fun and vintage.
So join us on our journey!
Old ice box and behind that is a gravity water tank that feeds into the sink.
